Lindsay Lohan fuels lesbian rumors

Lindsay Lohan has fueled lesbian rumors after holding hands with new best friend Courtenay Semel.

The Mean Girls star and her pal, the daughter of Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel, have become inseparable recently and last week attended a housewarming party at the Los Angeles home of "Power Lesbian" Jeanette Longoria together.

A fellow partygoer told the New York Post newspaper: "Lindsay came with Courtenay to the party around midnight and they stayed for an hour.

"The girls held hands and were with each other the whole time. Every time I see Lindsay, there's Courtenay. They are always together."

While at the party, Lindsay, 21, and Courtenay, 28, referred to themselves as "roommates" and told guests they had been living together in Los Angeles for about a month. They left the party together and were seen shopping in Beverly Hills the next day.

A representative for Lindsay: "The two are good friends, nothing more."

Lindsay - who split from snowboarder Riley Giles, who she met in rehab this summer - has previously been linked to her DJ friend Samantha Ronson, the sister of producer Mark Ronson.

The troubled actress - who was treated at Utah's Cirque Lodge for drug and alcohol addiction after being charged with DUI (driving under the influence) - was said to be nervous at Jeanette Longoria's party, where other guests included Diana Ross' son Evan Ross and Brandon Davis.

The party insider said: "Lindsay seemed really nervous. It was the first time she's seen a lot of people from her past life and she seemed socially awkward - like she was sticking by Courtenay for support."

Semel infuriated her billionaire father by agreeing to star in E! reality show Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive alongside Fabian Basabe, Brittny Gastineau and Katy Benetar. The show, produced by Joe Simpson, featured a group of spoiled, rich kids trying to rough it on a Colorado ranch.

Britney Spears' Kid Sister Pregnant

Britney Spears is going to be an aunt.

Britney Spears' sixteen year old sister Jamie Lynn Spears, a high school junior not known to be in a serious relationship, is pregnant.

Jamie, 16, and her mum, Lynne, confirmed the pregnancy to America's OK! magazine. She's apparently 12 weeks along, and the father of the baby is her long-term boyfriend, Casey Alridge.

Jamie told OK!: "It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

She waited two weeks before telling her parents and told the magazine: "I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

Mum Lynne told OK!: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

Casey's mum, Joyce, told TMZ she was aware of the interview and pregnancy, and that "we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn".

When asked whether she was in a relationship, Jamie recently told the Associated Press:

"I kind of just keep my options open. I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends."

Jamie stars as a schoolgirl in the comedy television show Zoey 101 produced by American cable television network Nickelodeon.
A statement issued by Nickelodeon states:

"We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
